Contains membership ledgers of dues and donations as well as bank statements (late 1930s-1960s). Also includes bills and receipts and lists of donations and membership of every individual who was part of the congregation. Several pieces of correspondence request aid and money for the betterment of the synagogue as well as miscellaneous documents regarding the Beth Israel Synagogue and the Worcester Hebrew Cemetery, together with letters from the curator of the Worcester Historical Museum (at the time the synagogue was in session) regarding information about past members. Also contains oral histories on audiocassette tape (with transcriptions) of nine older members; article based on interviews with older members; photographs taken during the 1997 cleanup of the property, with some older (1950s) photographs; clippings relating to reuse of the property and the 1999 fire; and miscellaneous documents concerning the property with incorporation papers and amendments for Hebrew Cemetery Corporation of Worcester.
